Virginia State returns to USAToday ESPN Women's Basketball Top 25
VIRGINIA STATE RETURNS TO THE TOP 25

The Virginia State University women's basketball team returned to
the Top 25 for the first time in three weeks. In the latest USA
TODAY ESPN Division II Coaches Poll, released on February 16, the
Lady Trojans are ranked 25th in the nation.
The move marks a jump of one spot from last week.
The top team in the poll is Franklin Pierce University, which has a
23-0 record. Gannon University, the top team in the Atlantic Region
of the NCAA, moved up to second with a 26-0 record.
Michigan Technological University, the University of Indianapolis
and Arkansas Tech University round out the top five.
Virginia State is the only CIAA team in the poll.
The Lady Trojans meet Elizabeth City State University on February
18 in Daniel Gym.
