LADY TROJANS TO FACE AASU IN NCAA FIRST ROUND

The Virginia State University women's tennis team, winners of the school's first CIAA women's tennis crown, will enter the 2008 NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Championship seeded eighth in the South Atlantic Region.
The Lady Trojans (17-1) will take on top-seeded Armstrong Atlantic State University (25-1), who claimed an automatic bid by winning the Peach Belth Conference title, in Savannah, Ga.
The first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament will be played on either May 8 and 9 or May 9 and 10.
The winner of the VSU/AASU match-up will meet the winner of Clayton State and Augusta State.
